Drazen Prelec

Drazen Prelec is a researcher in behavioral economics, marketing and decision science whose work has shaped how we think about money and payment. With George Loewenstein he described the pain of paying in 1998, and with Dan Ariely and Loewenstein he co-authored the 2003 paper on coherent arbitrariness, a study of how arbitrary anchors can shape later prices people give. This page lists our articles, quizzes and videos that draw on his research, with links to the original papers.
